TTI-C Accrediation Status
Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago was granted initial candidacy status for accrediation by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools on May 2, 2005. The Commission Board of Trustees validated this action through its validation process concluded on May 17, 2005.
Two institutional documents are posted on the Commission's website (http://www.ncahlc.org/index.php?option=com_directory&Action=ShowBasic&instid=2859) for public disclosure - the Statement of Affiliation Status and Organizational Profile.
TTI-C is moving forward toward accrediation and plans to achive this status within the required four-year time frame.
TTI-C has progressed toward candidacy and ultimately accrediation status as follows:

- Submittal of Preliminary Information Form to Higher Learning Commission (HLC)
- November 2003
- Preliminary Information Form Approved by HLC
- October 2004
- Submittal of Self Study Report to HLC Evaluation Team Members
- December 6-8, 2004
- On Site review conducted by HLC evaluation team
- April 2005
- Submittal of Addendum to Self Study Report to HLC
- May 2, 2005
- Meeting with HLC Review Committee for determination of TTI-C's eligibility for Candidacy
- Granding of TTI-C's initial candidacy status by HLC Review Committee
- May 17, 2005
- Validation of TTI-C's initial candidacy status by the Commission Board of Trustees
