Shai Shalev-Shwartz received his B.Sc. in computer science from the Open University of Israel in 1999, his M.Sc. in computer science from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in 2002, and in 2007, he has submitted his PhD in computer science. His research interests are in the areas of machine learning algorithms, online learning and games, optimization techniques, and signal processing applications.
