Post Doctoral Research Assistant in Computer Vision


Jinbo Xu is the recipient of an award funded by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS), in collaborative research with Dr. Tobin Sosnick (University of Chicago). The award is for just under $200,000 and covers three years. The grant is titled "Protein Structure Refinement using a Novel Moveset".

Ambuj Tewari

Professor Tewari's primary research interests are artificial intelligence and machine learning, particularly large-margin methods, reinforcement learning and online learning. He likes to view learning problems from both an algorithmic as well as a statistical viewpoint. He has published papers in top machine learning conferences and journals. His work on consistency of multiclass classification methods received a Student Paper Award at COLT 2005.
